Look again: are most of the rooms relaxed and open, or warm and cocooned? Are there repeating colours? Mood is often more important than style. Are the spaces you’re saving airy, serene and minimal? Or layered, cosy and full of character? That emotional cue of calm vs. energised, minimalist vs. expressive can help shape everything from your lighting choices to your layout.
