Dining area imbued with natural harmony

Our clients had a long dining area adjacent to their kitchen that had acted as an orangery for the previous owners. Maché were tasked with designing a space that was impressive enough to host dinner parties, whilst feeling calm and serene for their daily use.
The design featured layers of old and new wood to bring depth and character, alongside natural fabrics and finishes including rich leather, rough linen, textured sandstone and rustic pottery.
Plants were also added to give a pop of colour and bring in the rich green that surrounded the property. Team Maché then found the perfect natural plaster hue that would complement the rustic brick seen through the windows and would keep this light filled room feeling warm and inviting regardless of the great British weather.
The result is a space that is rich and interesting whilst being completely in harmony with nature.
